CandleGlow: Tales of the Haunted Rose Gardens is the inaugural performance of the SoundsCape Concert Series, an immersive Halloween experience inspired by one of Cape Coral's most enduring local legends. This performance is set in the intimate Rosen Ballroom at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, the very site where the Cape Coral Gardens once stood. A live string quartet will perform haunting classical pieces and beloved popular favorites associated with Halloween. Through storytelling, the audience will also discover the fascinating tale of Cape Coral Gardens, the beloved theme park that opened in 1964 with dancing "porpoises" (dolphins), waltzing waters, replicas of historical monuments, and breathtaking rose and exotic flower gardens. It was abruptly closed in 1970. According to local legend, that's when the unexplained began....
