Christmas Tree Candle and Bauble filled Making Class

Tis’ the season to be jolly and here at Melanin Minds I want to get your creative festive juices flowing!

Take a break from the Christmas hype and immerse yourself in the soothing advantages of candle and filled bauble making at Candle 'N' Sip. Our workshops aim to enhance your mindfulness and provide a meaningful self-care experience especially at this busy time of year. Spend a relaxing and creative evening crafting candles hands-on.

Indulge yourself with a Mulled wine or punch and salted caramel crumble mince pies as you perfect your new skills and bask in the aroma of your hand made creations. In this laid-back and welcoming crafting session I’ll lead you through the process of candle-making using vegan cruelty-free UK-sourced materials.

Located in the cosy coffee shop, just outside of Bedford Town. Your instructor Alexandra, me, will walk you through the steps before giving you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by making your own Christmas scented, soy, coconut, wax candle and six tealight candles to fill your bauble. If you are a complete beginner, fret not, as I’ll be there to assist and encourage you every step of the way!

After pouring your candle you’ll decorate it with your own label and walk away with your new knowledge and a sense of achievement! At the end of the class your scented candle and tea light filled bauble will be ready to take home.

• Candle preparation
• Mixing and pouring
• Bauble decorating
• Finishing touches
