Candidate Lunch Series: Meet the Candidates for Governor

Joining us for this Leads & Lunch session is Mike Kennealy, former MA Secretary of Housing & Economic Development.

The Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Lunch Series — an opportunity for our members to meet and hear directly from candidates running for the Governor’s seat. These events are designed to inform and engage our business community by allowing members to learn more about each candidate’s priorities and positions. The Chamber does not endorse or promote any candidate or political party. We welcome any and all candidates to participate and share their perspectives with our members.

Mike Kennealy is a father, husband, public servant, business leader, and lifelong Massachusetts resident. For years, he has brought together business, government, and community leaders to deliver real results for the Commonwealth. As a former private equity executive, he helped businesses across the country grow. Mike began his public service by joining the leadership team of the turnaround of Lawrence Public Schools and later went on to serve eight years in the Baker Administration, including four years as Secretary of Housing and Economic Development. He spent the past two years serving as senior strategist for the Boys and Girls Club of Boston.
Governor Baker entrusted Mike with the critical task of reopening the Massachusetts economy during COVID. In that role, Mike brought together industry leaders from across the Commonwealth to ensure a swift, safe, and effective return to normalcy. His belief in the strength of the private sector and the power of a thriving economy is a driving force behind his run for Governor. Mike is committed to building a government that empowers businesses, both large and small, to grow, innovate, and drive Massachusetts forward.
