Candidacy Mass

This Sunday at the 11:00 AM Mass, Bishop William Joensen will celebrate the Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders for three men discerning the priesthood: Shawn Daly, Michael Posegate, and Andrew Robey.
This is a special moment for our parish, as Shawn Daly is one of our own. The Rite of Candidacy is a public step in formation, recognizing that these men have completed their initial formation and are preparing to continue their journey toward the priesthood through four years of graduate studies in theology and pastoral practice.
This fall, Shawn will attend Saint Paul Seminary in Saint Paul, Minnesota, while Andrew and Michael will attend the Pontifical North American College in Rome. God willing, they will be ordained to the priesthood in 2030.
Parishioners are warmly invited to attend the 11:00 AM Mass and be witnesses to this brief ceremony and important step in their vocation. Please continue to pray for Shawn, Michael, Andrew, and all men discerning a call to the priesthood.
