This course is suitable for anyone working in the electrical industry including:

  • Electricians, Electrical Installers and Electrical Supervisors
  • Building Maintenance Supervisors
  • Any person who deals with Electrical Installations within Buildings



Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, delegates should have an understanding and experience of electrical principles and practice.



Award

The City & Guilds 18th Edition course (C&G 2382-26)incorporates Amendment 4 (BS 7671:2018+A4:2026) to the IET Wiring Regulations. This mandatory qualification is essential for practicing electricians and is assessed via a 2-hour, open-book multiple-choice exam



Amendment 4

Released on April 15, 2026, Amendment 4 brings BS 7671 into closer alignment with European and international IEC standards.
