About this Event

To help ensure your safety during your Hand and Nail Care appointment, please read the following statements carefully. By booking and attending your appointment, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, none of the following apply to you:

• I do not have an indwelling line (including a PICC line) used for administering Medic*tion, or I have not had one removed within the last 72 hours.
• I do not have cancer or metastatic cancer affecting my hands.
• I have not had lymph nodes removed from my arm(s), and I do not have lymphoedema affecting my arm(s).
• I do not have an untreated blood clot (deep vein thrombosis or DVT) anywhere in my body.
• I do not have a bleeding disorder.
• I do not have an active infection.
• I do not have any cuts, open wounds, numbness, or loss of sensation in my hands.
• I have informed the Cancer Wellbeing Service of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, or intolerances to creams, lotions, oils, nail products, or other products that may be used during the appointment.

If any of the above statements apply to you, please inform a member of the Cancer Wellbeing Service before your appointment. In some cases, your appointment may need to be postponed or alternative advice provided to ensure your safety.
