Cancer Sciences Symposium 2026

This year our symposium will focus on collaborative research with translational impact.

Spread across two days, we will start with a public seminar from the incoming head of department (to be announced) & networking evening on Thursday 23 July in the atrium of FMHS.

The programme on Friday 24 July, to be held in Auckland Hospital’s Clinical Education Centre, will feature as our 2026 Plenary Speaker.

Dr Savas will speak to his research, the role of collaboration in advancing cancer science, and the value of fostering clinician–scientist partnerships.
