Cancer Benefit for Marc Stephens

Come out and support Marc as he takes on bladder cancer. Marc is currently undergoing immunotherapy and is facing surgery for bladder removal, which will be followed by chemotherapy. Let's get together to help him and his family focus on his fight and his recovery.
Marc has dedicated his life to service. After graduating from Ilion High in 1993, he joined the US Navy and served on the USS America and the USS Eisenhower. He is a dedicated volunteer firefighter who has served departments in Ilion, Carthage, and West Carthage. If you follow the NYS Drill Teams, you probably recognize him from his time racing with the Ilion Roadrunners, Deerfield Hosebusters, Carthage Nighthawks, and the West Carthage Hornets. Today, he continues that tradition of service as a Sergeant with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Beyond his service, Marc grew up defending the crease as a hockey goalie, playing softball in Ilion and Little Falls Men’s League (winning a National Championship for the Polish Club in Little Falls), was a founding member of the Mohawk Valley Mercenaries Rugby Club, and is a dedicated family man. He lives in West Carthage with his wife Jamie, their daughter Ella, and his stepchildren Chloe, Kayden, and Liam.
