Please join us 12-5pm on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025 to support my brother Bart Ware.
Bart was diagnosed with mixed phenotype cancer (acute leukemia and lymphoma) in May 2024. He has been getting chemotherapy and other needed procedures through Loyola cancer center/hosptial in Maywood, IL. Bart and his family have been traveling from their Rockford home weekly upto multiple times a week. Bart is still in need of bone marrow and stem cell transplant and will be scheduled for that procedure soon.
He is required to quarantine/isolate for 100 days and be within 20 minutes of the hospital for regular to daily visits in the beginning of the transplant process. Bart also requires extra care due to being paraplegic since 2015. His mother, Heather is his Primary caregiver. Heather has been working as much as she can and will continue to do so unfortunately the income has been limited in this situation. Please come out to support Bart.
Food and bake sale, 50/50, raffle baskets, silent auction and the band the Real Deal is playing 3-5pm. We are looking for local businesses or individuals that would donate a basket.
