Join us as we celebrate Canada’s Multiculturalism Day. This is Showboat’s opportunity to celebrate our diversity and our commitment to democracy, equality and mutual respect, and to appreciate the contributions of the rich variety of multicultural groups and communities to Canadian society.
The Bright Sunset Chinese Dance Group
Their dance performances represent various types of ethnic, classical and folk dances of China. Their goals are to share the variety of Chinese culture expressing their identity within the community and to encourage older adults to stay healthy, fit, and active.
Norine Braun with Alice Fraser
Norine Braun, a Vancouver singer-songwriter and recording artist renowned for her soulful vocals and introspective songwriting in multiple genres. With 14 albums to her name, Braun’s music explores themes of the environment, identity, heritage, and the universal journey of life. Norine is Metis and Two Spirit and her latest album received a First Peoples Cultural Award. Her partner Alice Fraser accompanies on harmony vocals and keys.
Kitsilano Showboat offers five nights of free entertainment every week this summer, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from June 17 - August 23, 2026. Showtime 7:00 pm. Something different every evening. Always the most beautiful view in the world. Weather permitting. Program subject to change.
