Join us for a Cultural Brokering Workshop in Calgary!
As part of the National Cultural Brokers Project, this in-person workshop brings together those engaged in cultural brokering work across Canada.
Participants will explore:
- Current research on Cultural Brokers in Canada
- Successes and challenges within the workforce
- Emerging policy and practice considerations
- The 7 Orientations for Cultural Brokering through discussion, experiential activities, and role-plays
Who should attend?
Frontline staff working with newcomers, immigrants, and refugees, including service providers, settlement workers, community navigators, community health workers, and community practitioners.
