Remember the North Vancouver Canada Day Parade?
Up until 2019, it was the longest running Canada Day parade in the country - over 100 years.
Then Covid happened.
A dedicated group of North Vancouverites have decided it's time to revitalize this wonderful tradition, and so we're having a grand gathering in North Vancouver City's Civic Plaza by City Hall and the library on July 1st.
We have dubbed this celebration our Canada Day Stationary Parade, as FIFA security needs have prevented an actual moving parade this year. But we will have one next year!
In the meantime, this Stationary Parade will be a great leap forward, a lot of fun, and a learning experience for our organizers, sponsors, and volunteers!
