About this Event

Can You See Me?
What your eyes hide from you - journey into the unseen with a Harvard scientist

Can you see me? This may sound like the first line of every single Zoom call - but this is the first line of this show, delivered while standing on stage! By the end of the show, I hope to convince you that you can not really see me on stage - through live brainwave demos, light “illusions” expanding your reality, and the viral 2015 “colour-changing” black and blue dress. Or was it white and gold?

Us, little humans, can barely see reality — less than 1% of the light — and even that tiny sliver is largely distorted by our attention, hallucinated by our brains, and edited by our memory. “Can You See Me?” makes that invisible reality visible, live on stage.

I am an award-winning Harvard-educated scientist doing research for NASA, and I research the invisible. I would like to take you on a journey into science, wonder, philosophy and the beautiful unreliability of our own minds.

Come see me... IF YOU CAN!
