Join us Saturday, March 15th at 3pm for an encore performance of Terry Riley’s Minimalist masterpiece “In C”, at Cure Coffee House in Olde Towne Portsmouth.
Any instrument, whether acoustic or amplified, is welcome! If you don’t play an instrument, you can always sing along. If you don’t read sheet music, you can always play by ear and improvise. We’ll be asking amplified players to exercise “polyphonic courtesy” and play softly enough to hear the acoustic instruments. In the past we’ve had electric guitars, acoustic cellos, saxophones, clarinets, ukuleles, cajons, accordions, melodicas, violins, kazoos, synthesizers and banjos.
Bring your own music stands. Sheet music will be provided in both C and Bb.
