🍻 Miller Lite Can In Hand Pickleball TournamentDivisions:
Lite Dinkers — for social, recreational, or newer players.
Heavy Hitters — for advanced, competitive players who want a real challenge (and still want to hold that can!).
Format
Social - Doubles Play
Open - no male-to-female ratio requirement
Pool play → Single‑elimination bracket
🎯 Basic Rules
Can In Hand:
Each player must hold a full or partially full Miller Lite or other beverage of choice in their non-dominant hand during play.
You cannot set the drink down or switch hands mid-point.
One-Handed Play:
You must hit the ball and serve using only the hand not holding your drink.
Drops, spills, or accidental double-handing result in loss of point.
Spillage Penalty:
If you spill more than a sip’s worth at once, the point goes to your opponent.
Serving:
Standard pickleball rules apply for serving—underhand, below the waist, behind the baseline.
Scoring:
Pool play games are played to 15, win by 1.
Best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points, win by 2, for bracket rounds.
Equipment:
Standard paddles and outdoor balls.
Cold can of Miller Lite or other beverage of your choice!
Substitution:
Players can swap out for a fresh drink only between games or at an agreed break.
Prizes:
Champions for each division win prizes and bragging rights.
Sportsmanship:
Keep it lighthearted — it’s all about fun, laughs, and a cold Miller Lite. Play fair, drink responsibly, and have fun!
