All members are cordially invited to register your Land Rovers for the British Car Union Show held every year at Harper College in Palatine, IL. I (Matt Forss) will be heading down the day before (Sept. 6) to camp at a great campground called Camp Reinberg in Palatine and it's only 10 minutes from the car show! I have reserved site #11 for up to 6 members. However, if you want non-electric sites, you have to stay in a tent and take all your belongings with you for the nite in a cart to the camp site. The path is paved and carts are provided and other members that camp can help with loading/unloading, too. You cannot park your vehicle at the site. However, there are trailer/RV sites with electricity where you can drive directly to the site. There are also modern cabins you can rent, but they are not drive-ups. If you want to camp with me, I have room at my site for another tent or two, and I have a two-person tent. The campground is located at: 1801 N. Quentin Rd. Palatine, IL 60074 and their website is: https://fpdcc.com Check your schedule early, as all these sites book up quick. You are welcome to meet us at the campground and caravan over to the car show. Once at the show, we can spread the good news of our Wisconsin Land Rover Club to everyone in attendance! Rain or shine the event goes on. Registration opens later in Spring or Summer 2025.
