This summer, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) will host Camp Read-A-Lot in Sand Springs. This fun family literacy night is designed to help families support reading at home. Families will participate in interactive literacy activities, explore strategies that build strong readers, and receive resources to continue learning throughout the summer.
Goals
• Strengthen family understanding of foundational literacy skills
• Provide hands-on literacy strategies families can practice at home
• Increase student motivation and confidence in reading and writing
• Build positive school-family connections through a shared experience
