Join us June 22nd 2024Northern Arizona Hospice, announces our 2nd Annual Camp Pathways!
It’s a camp that provides children ages 6 to 18 who have experienced a loss an opportunity to meet other children their own age and learn skills to cope with their grief.
When it comes to grief and loss, children can be one of the most misunderstood and underserved groups. Children often struggle to understand or express their grief in a healthy way; and supporting the child can be challenging for adults who may not know how to broach the subject of death. It is important for children to be given the opportunity to process their grief in a supportive environment.
