Camp Horizon- Free Kids Grief Camp

Come join us at North Henry Baptist Church for a day of healing and support at our Free Kids Grief Camp! This in-person event is specially designed to help children cope with the loss of a loved one in a safe and nurturing environment. Through activities, games, and group discussions, kids will learn to express their feelings and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. Camp Horizon Registration is Open (and over half way full!):
Our 2025 camp will be Saturday, June 28th at North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge. Camp Horizon is a full day of fun and educational activities that is aimed at helping children honor/remember a lost loved one, learn to recognize and manage emotions, teach coping skills, and build relationships with other children who have lost a loved one. All in a fun and safe environment lead by counselors, social workers, and bereavement coordinators.
Camp Horizon always features small group activities, arts and crafts, games, music, a drum circle, entertainment and more! In addition to all the previously mentioned professionals on site, we also have two licensed children's therapists, and plenty of nursing staff! All supplies, breakfast, and lunch are included for FREE! Camp Horizon is for any child ages 6-13 who has experienced the loss of a loved one (family member, friend, classmate, teammate, or community member).
