☀️ Camp Endres Day CampWe know that growing up with type 1 diabetes, or being the sibling of someone who lives with it, can sometimes mean feeling different or missing out on experiences other kids get to enjoy. At Camp Endres Day Camp, we believe every child deserves the full summer camp experience: the fun, the friendships, the confidence-building moments, and the memories that last long after camp ends.
Camp Endres Day Camp is designed for kids ages 5–12 who live with type 1 diabetes. It’s a place where campers are surrounded by peers who “get it,” and where they can relax, be themselves, and connect with others who understand their day-to-day life. These shared experiences often spark friendships that last for years. Camp helps campers feel supported, empowered, and never alone.
We prioritize fun first with support every step of the way.
Each day is packed with exciting activities, education, and creativity; all in a safe and encouraging environment. Campers will enjoy the classic thrill of camp while also gaining helpful tools for managing diabetes in a way that feels age-appropriate and empowering.
How does Day Camp work?
Camp runs for five days, with campers dropped off each morning and picked up each evening—making it a perfect option for families who want the camp experience without an overnight stay. The week wraps up with something extra special…
🌟 Family Day (Saturday) 🌟
On the final day of camp, families are invited to join us for Family Day; a chance to step into your camper’s shoes and experience Camp Endres together. Families can participate in camp-style activities, learn through diabetes education moments, and enjoy outdoor fun with their camper. It’s a beautiful and unforgettable way to end the week.
Camp Highlights Include:
🏹 Axe Throwing, Archery, Paintball, Low Ropes, and Zipline Adventures
🎨 Daily Arts & Crafts + Swimming
🧠 Daily education sessions with licensed professionals covering topics like:
• mental health and diabetes
• site changes
• carb counting and more
