Camp Cheerful Barn Tour and Presentation with Cuyahoga OHC

Please join us at 15000 Cheerful Ln, Strongsville, OH Monday August 31st for the barn tour and meeting at Camp Cheerful . Cory R. will discuss what they do there, volunteer opportunities and give a tour. Camp Cheerful is located in Strongsville near SouthPark Mall. This tour is an excellent introduction to the Riding Programs and the Camp Cheerful arena and stable facility. Please park in the main parking lot and meet at The Great Hall (in the center of camp - follow the signs). We will gather for snacks and social from 6PM to 6:30PM and then the tour will start. The horse program at the facility consists of an Adapted 9 week riding session for special needs children and Pony Pals 4 week sessions for traditionally developing children usually aged 4 - 12 as well as Camps in the summer and students eligible for extended learning (ESY) in the summer. Other programs include Equine Assisted Leadership, Team Building, and Mental Health Groups plus Scout Groups. The facility serves many groups in our community, and you can even rent portions of the facility for private events. If you have wondered about Camp Cheerful as perhaps a possible participant in one of the many programs, horse lover, much-needed volunteer, former camper or volunteer, or programs for physical and occupational therapy - please join us and feel free to invite friends and family.
