Camp Bright Star - Spring 2026

Camp Bright Star -1-day bereavement camp sponsored by Hospice of Health First for grieving children and their families.

Join us for an unforgettable day at Camp Bright Star, where you'll learn to surf on the waves of grief. This free, one-day camp is for children ages 5–12. It combines emotional support and grief education with a range of fun, interactive activities, focusing on uplifting and therapeutic experiences in the healing arts. Campers will learn healthy ways to process grief, make new friends who share similar experiences, and discover meaningful ways to heal.

Activities are led by Hospice of Health First and Bright Star bereavement specialists and specially trained volunteers.

Details:

• Registration is required by all campers. We do not allow same-day registration.

• Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be provided. We ask that your child have a good breakfast before coming to camp.

• Please ensure your child is in comfortable clothes and sneakers for camp activities.

• Guardians will be required to attend the family activity from 2 - 3 p.m.
