Cowgirls! Let’s explore the beauty of South Mountains State Park! This park is truly a gem nestled in the NC foothills and mountains — offering miles of scenic trails and a great campground to boot! 🤠
Campground Details:
• Campsites offer electricity only
• Water spigots are available throughout the campground but not at the campsite (fill your trailer tank at home if possible)
• Bathhouse available
• Stalls have water readily available — no need to haul water for your horses
• Horse boots or shoes strongly recommended — the trails are rocky
• Expect plenty of climbs – please make sure your horse is in shape! 🏞️🐎
