Musical Style: Jazz, all original musicCamilla Vaitaitis celebrates the release of her debut jazz album "I Grew Up" with friends and bandmates Kevin Matthews, Adam Gang, and Patrick McDevitt.
This is Vaitaitis' first album as a bandleader and features all original contemporary jazz compositions. Each tune has its own unique sonic landscape that immerses the listener in its environment and emotion.
"I Grew Up" is a celebration for the four-year-old Camilla who begged to start piano lessons, the 7th grader who discovered a deep love for the Beatles & Elliott Smith, the high school senior who decided to follow her gut and pursue music for a living, and the Camilla of today who has come into her own as one of the most unique, dynamic creative voices in Denver's music scene.
