Hello Magic Players, this event is to remember Cameron Thompson, one of our friends and fellow magic players who passed away in March of 2023 due to cirrhosis. We are hosting this event as a celebration of life as his birthday is coming up on November 6th. Our goal is to honor someone who put their heart and soul on growing the community and bringing his passion for the game through his favorite format and working alongside the place he worked at to make this a yearly occasion. He will be missed dearly, and we were unaware of the struggles he was going through, but we are doing this to bring awareness of the problems of depression and alcoholism. This is a charitable event, and we will also be using this opportunity to raise funds for Alcoholics Anonymous.

Rules and Event Structure
Competitive Rules Enforcement Level using the Magic: The Gathering Tournament Rule and the Infraction Procedure Guide.
Players must come with a Legal Modern Deck with an identical deck list either printed or hand written on the Wizards of the Coast Deck Registration form. Players will play 6 rounds of Swiss with a cut to Top 8 based on standings and Tiebreakers.
9AM - 10am Deck registration
10 AM Opening announcement and Round 1 start
No break in between rounds.
6 Rounds of Swiss with a cut to top 8
Top 8 will play 3 additional rounds untimed
Prizes:
1st Place: $400
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $150
4th place $150
5-6th place $50
7-8th place $25
