Camerata Nordica Octet

Founded in 1974, Camerata Nordica has built an international reputation for its distinctive, high-energy performance style—captivating audiences by performing standing up, often entirely from memory. This physical freedom and shared musical purpose create an electrifying connection both within the ensemble and with listeners. The group’s artistry has been widely recognized, with three recordings earning Grammy Award nominations.
Drawn from the orchestra’s principal players, the Camerata Nordica Octet presents a refined chamber experience in which the musicians reveal an extraordinary depth of musical connection, precision, and expressive commitment, bringing every piece vividly to life.
