Calling all shutterbugs! We are excited to announce a new FREE club starting this year at the HMT: Camera Collective! This will be the perfect group for new or amateur photographers looking to participate in fun themed shoots, share ideas and knowledge, and make new friends. Our January meet up will be at the HMT this Sunday (January 12) from 3-5 PM. Bring your camera or iPhone, snacks and beverages (non alcoholic), and any fun props or costume pieces for our January theme: ZODIAC!Our facilitator will prepare a set but costumes and styling are all up to you! Please view our vision board for more ideas. Photographers can take turns modeling, or folks only interested in modeling are also welcome! The intent of camera collective is to have fun, make art, and make new friends along the way. Themes will vary throughout the year (some with models and some without), and a follow up Facebook group will be started for folks to share final products, give and get constructive criticism, and talk editing techniques.
This club is open to artists age 18+. We aim to make this group a comfortable space for artists and models of all genders, body types, and abilities. No nude photography.
