We would like to invite you to the Cambridge VI Forum, a group run by and for local blind and partially sighted people. This forum is currently being run by volunteers from Anglia Ruskin University, so please bear with us as we take over from Warren Wilson’s very capable hands!
The next meeting is on Tuesday 23rd September, 10:00 – 12:00 at the Masonic Hall, 45 Bateman Street, Cambridge, CB2 1NA.
Our speakers are:
10:20 – 10:50, Sian Cowell, Inclusive Research Manager, Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
Sian will be talking about how the biomedical campus and Addenbrookes hospital are trying to be more inclusive in recruiting patients to their studies.
11:00 – 11:30, Gail Pajak, Sighted Guide Services, Guide Dogs.
Gail will be talking about the training courses that Guide Dogs provide for people that want to become sighted guides.
We hope that you will be able to attend! If you would like to come along, or have any questions, then please email Clare: [email protected]
It would be great if you could share this with any contacts or other interested people, and via social media channels.
