Dear RABbersI plan on hosting an IRL meetup for the RAB Zwifters very similar to previous years 100km easy spin to Folk cafe nr Bury St Edmonds from Cambridge and back. All All All Rabbers past present and future welcome

Will be mostly back roads, so few cars and nice countryside. It’s a good way to meet some of the people you may have ridden with virtually and to get some miles in the legs, catch up with friends from RAB.
Refreshments at FC then back to Cambridge for light refreshments and carriages.
Beers at the Millpond if the weather is nice or Gog Magog farm for coffee and cake.
We had about 20 participants last year with chaperones provided by members of my IRL bike club. A few have expressed interest in chaperoning this year so it will be well supported again.
I plan to run 2 groups again 14-16Mph and 16MPH+ so that most abilities are catered for.
I would ask that if you plan on attending that you have a good level of fitness and know about basic bike maintenance. This is a self-supported ride, not like RAB where there are bike mechanics and medics.
Of course we all help each other out, but I'm not running a sportive/race, and therefore I'm not taking out public liability insurance. If you need to be rescued then I expect you to be able to absorb that cost (taxi ride, wife-ambulance).
We will meet at Cambridge Railway Station (the main one) at 9:00-9:30 on the day and depart en-masse. Parking is at the station or free at Trumpington Park and Ride which is linked to the station along the guided busway (5mins cycle).
There will be past Rabbers on the ride to talk to about kit and what to expect. I follow standards British cycling rules on group riding and general cycling etiquette (helmets, signals ect.).
