Cambridge Garden Workday

Join us for a day of garden maintenance at Cambridge Elementary!

About the Garden: In just two short years, has already made a big impact on the community! The garden features beautiful trellises, garden beds, learning spaces, and more. The garden is host to Growing Healthy Kids outdoor garden class, taught by Garden Educator Olive Bartholomew to all grade levels TK - 5. The garden is a cared for Growing Healthy Kids staff, community members, and students.

Help needed: At this work day, volunteers will:

• Weeding
• Clearing Summer Crops
• Plant a winter garden beds
• Plant an avocado tree!

Access Notes: Activities for all ages, no gardening experience necessary. Event staff speaks English and Spanish. Restrooms will be available. If you have other questions about accesibility, please reach out!

You should Bring: Bring sun protection, a water bottle, and garden gloves, if you have them. Snacks for your fellow volunteers are also welcome.
