It's Christmas so we're returning to KIKI for a special festive edition of An Afternoon of Indie.
After a rammed launch in May and sold out events in London, Brighton, Nottingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Coventry and more, the UK's biggest indie party is coming back to KIKI to bring the people of Cambridge. a special Christmas edition of afternoon of indie
Grab your Santa hats and mistletoe as Old School Indie, The indie night for the over 30s, once again join forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to get you in that Christmas spirit with this 3pm-7pm Afternoon of Indie.
Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone and maybe even the odd Christmas classic too.
The party will finish at 7pm so you can head down the pub to continue your night out or you could just go home and watch Home Alone or Love Actually on the box with a take away.
With a strict door policy of no under 30s (please bring ID) there is no chance of you rubbing shoulders with anyone who can't sing the entire version of Babies or Going Underground.What to expect: The best in indie from: Bowie, Pulp, Clash, Jam, Cure, Joy Division, Stone Roses, Smiths, New Order, Strokes, Supergrass, Kinks, Franz Ferdinand, Nirvana, Ash, Rolling Stones, Who, Primal Scream, Killers, Sultans of Ping, Buzzcocks, Ramones, Specials, Blondie, Hole, Madness, La's, Weezer, Cardigans, Housemartins, Coral, Undertones, Inspiral Carpets, Bloc Party, Beatles, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Pixies plus the odd bit of rock n roll, soul, northern soul and ska!
