CAMAS FLATS PRE-LEASING MASS SCREENING EVENT Please note: Camas Flats Apartments is still under construction, so we are meeting off site, currently.
To apply for an apartment, please stop by the Oak Bay Station Community Center (right across from The Roller Barn) every Friday through November for an application and screening. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are strongly encouraged. Please call our office at (360) 399-2033 to inquire further or to schedule your appointment!
Please be advised of the following important information to ensure your application can be processed:
Application Fee - Processed by Orca Information, Inc.
A $50 non-refundable application fee is required for each adult (18 years or older) who will reside in the unit. This must be brought to your appointment in the form of a check or money order made out to ORCA. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or electronic payments at this time.
Required Documentation
To determine eligibility, you must bring the following items:
Application packet (available at check in)
The application fee (check or money order only - make payable to ORCA)
A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, passport) for each adult applicant 18 years or older
A Social Security card for each adult applicant
The following income and asset documentation (as applicable):
Income Documentation:
Employment income – Two (2) most recent, consecutive months of pay stubs for each job
Social Security / SSI / SSDI – Current award letter or most recent payment statement (Visit: https://www.ssa.gov/)
Pension or retirement income – Most recent payment summary or benefit statement
Child support or alimony – Court order or documentation of payments received
Self-employment income – Most recent tax return, profit/loss summary, ledger, or bank documentation
Other regular income – Documentation for any recurring income
Asset Documentation:
Bank statements – Most recent statements for all checking, savings, and online bank accounts
Prepaid debit card balances – If applicable, most recent balance documentation
Retirement accounts – Current statements for 401(k), IRA, or pension accounts
Investment accounts – Most recent statements for stocks, mutual funds, or other investments
Life insurance – Documentation of cash value for any whole or universal life insurance policies
Important Notice
To be fully eligible at the time of the screening appointment, you must have:
The completed application packet
All required supporting documents
A valid photo ID and Social Security card
The application fee (check or money order only - made payable to ORCA)
Not sure if you qualify? Minimum income limits for Island county are as follows:
1BR (up to 3 people)= Household must gross a minimum of $16,380 annually to qualify
2BR (up to 5 people)= Household must gross a minimum of $34,560 annually to qualify
3BR (up to 7 people)= Household must gross a minimum of $43,440 annually to qualify
