Caltowie Planting events 24th and 25th of August

Red Centre Enterprises is a First Nations owned business local native nursery that are working hard for the environment and their community. They are special friends of CVA and they need a hand.
On the 24th and 25th of August we are going to drive to Caltowie (near Jamestown) to help them with this season's planting on a Merino Stud property.
The plantings are part of a Federally funded project introducing local drought tolerant species to help improve the long-term resilience of low rainfall farms.
It's very different to what we normally do, but it should be fun and super interesting!
The logistics (both days):
Meet time: 7:30 am
Meet Location: The Brickworks Market Carpark at Torrensville.
The drive to the site is approximately 2.5 hours, we will make a comfort stop on the way.
I will provide morning tea, lunch and snacks.
We'll be back at Brickworks at 6pm.
