James Yon was born half black, half Asian growing up in the south, his comedy styling has evolved into a mixture of hilarious stand-up, musical impressions and some of the most outrageous dance moves you’ve ever seen. His show is one you can’t miss and will never forget. James was the house MC for a comedy club in Universal Studios Orlando for five years. This Florida native is one of America’s hottest up and coming comedians. He can be seen each and every Sunday at 11pm hosting his own show, “Viral Breakdown” on the Afrotainment Channel on DISH Network Ads Hosted by renowned comedian James Yon, Viral Breakdown features what’s hot, what’s not and what’s funny on the web and online each and every week. He has graced the stage with some of America’s top talent including, Joe Torry, Jimmy J.J Walker, Tom Rhodes and Michael Winslow. He was a finalist for NBC’s stand up for Diversity and appeared on the FOX comedy club. He was the 2011 and 2012 winner of the Orlando Improv’s “Clash of the Comics.” Now James spends his time touring clubs and casinos all over the country from Orlando to Las Vegas bringing the funny. James’ comedy experience spans a period of 15 years. He was the host of his own show at Universal Studios for 5 years and is currently in his 3rd season as star of Dish Network’s Viral Breakdown. Along the way James has appeared on NBC’s Stand-up for Diversity, FOX Network and more. James is a loving husband and father of 4 wonderful children.
