Join us on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Paramount Theatre for the Kamloops premiere of Calm Beneath Castles, an exhilarating ski film produced by Matchstick Productions. This special event is brought to you by the TRU Students’ Union and Sun Peaks Freestyle Club.Calm Beneath Castles is a captivating ski movie that explores the passion, quirks, and raw instincts of the world’s top skiers as they chase adventure in breathtaking locations. Through stunning cinematography and powerful storytelling, this film showcases their relentless pursuit of goals and their deep connection with the mountains.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the movie starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre in Kamloops. Arrive early to grab a drink and take part in the prize draws. Tickets are $10 for TRU students and $15 for general admission. Reserve your tickets below.
Proceeds support the Sun Peaks Freestyle Club and financial awards for TRU Students.
Door prizes include two ski packages with lift tickets and a one-night stay at Sun Peaks Grand, an Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 course from Colwest Alpine Adventures, a guided ski touring day with an ACMG certified guide, and gift cards to local ski and bike shops.
