Learn how to calm your anxiety by connecting with your heart using HeartMath techniques and Breathwork in this interactive workshop!Understanding how our hearts and brains are connected give us the insight to where our energy goes. We can use this to discover how to use our heart intelligence to guide our thoughts and actions, which then helps bring clarity and energy to our minds and bodies.

In this interactive workshop we will learn Heart Coherence , which is a state of cooperative alignment between the heart, mind, emotions and physical systems.
Learning to activate qualities of the heart such as care, kindness and acceptance increases our Personal Coherence . This results in less mental and emotional pressure, more effective choices and increased resilience. This expands into personal, social and global coherence.
Using HeartMath Institute tools and technologies we will learn coherence and its benefit, based on the rigors of over 30 years of scientific research.
This will be followed by a 45 min heart-centered Conscious Connected Breathwork Journey to integrate this Heart Coherance process.
ABOUT OUR FACILITAORS:
Sasha is a registered nurse with 20 years experience as a pediatric nurse as well as resiliency work for healthcare providers. She specialize in anxiety management through the power of breath using Caring Science Theory, HeartMath techniques, Integrative Conscious Connected Breathwork and Yin Yoga.
Ivy is a hairdresser/entreprenuer of 32 years, and is a certified Integrative Conscious Connected Breathwork facilitator. Her focus is in the areas of Embodied Leadership, the path of 12 step recovery, and is a Kriyavan yoga pracitioner, and especially using the power of breath and connection to the energetic self.
NOTE:
-We will provide meditation mats, sleep masks, and bolsters, or you can bring your own.
-Bring a journal or something to write in.
-Bring a small pillow, blanket and water for your personal comfort
-Please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
-It's preferable to not eat for at least 1 hour prior to the event.
-Please arrive 10 minutes early.
-No one will be let in once the journey begins.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR CCB BREATHWORK INCLUDE:
-Schizophrenia, Bi polar, unmanaged PTSD
-Epilepsy
-Heart Conditions, pace maker, arrhythmia, defibrillator
-COPD or Lung conditions
-Delicate Pregnancy
-High blood pressure, Hypertension
-Low blood pressure or history with fainting
-Glaucoma/ detached retina
-Severe osteoporosis
-Recent major surgery or life event
-Metal plate in head area
-Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and/or diabetes
-Use of intoxicants including alcohol, marijuana, psilocybin, ayahuasca etc
