RI Elder Info's 7th Annual Calling All Veterans Day!
On Saturday, August 15th 10-1 at the Seabee Museum Memorial Park at 21 Iafrate Way North Kingstown RI Elder Info will be hosting our 7th AnnualCalling All Veterans Day event for Veterans of ALL eras, their family and the community!
This free public event honors Veterans of all eras and the families who have supported them while connecting attendees with valuable services, programs, and community resources. The event is part of America’s 250th birthday celebration year and recognizes the sacrifices made by military members and their loved ones throughout the nation’s history.
The outdoor community event will feature:
• Opening and closing ceremonies
• Veteran service organizations and community resource tables
• Health and human service providers
• Tours of the Seabee Museum
• Networking and community engagement opportunities
• Refreshments and family-friendly activities
Calling All Veterans Day has become one of Rhode Island’s largest community-based Veteran information and resource events, bringing together Veterans, caregivers, military families, nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses in a welcoming and respectful environment.
Calling All Veterans Day is our way of giving back to the men and women who served our country and the families who stood beside them. It is also an opportunity to connect Veterans and caregivers with important information, support, and community resources.
