Uncial lettering dates back to the 4th century, prized for its rounded, flowing forms and its use in illuminated manuscripts like the Book of Kells. With broad, graceful strokes and a distinctive rhythm, it’s a wonderfully rewarding style to learn, whether you’re picking up a calligraphy pen for the first time or building on existing skills.
Helen brings over 40 years of experience in calligraphy and lettering arts, guiding students step-by-step through letterforms, spacing, and technique in a relaxed, supportive setting.
