This event includes an opportunity to meet the author, participate in an audience Q&A after the book talk, and get your book signed and personalized. Photos with the author are welcome!

We will have a limited supply of additional books for guests to purchase in store. Only a book ticket guarantees you a copy of the book.

If you are unable to attend the event after purchasing a ticket, you are required to pick up your copy of the book (with proof of purchase from your event registration) within 7 days after the event date. If the book is not picked up by that date, you relinquish your copy to Tattered Cover Book Store.

ABOUT THE BOOK
In 1939 Georgia, far removed from the war brewing overseas, Cora Cain's world feels small--and shrinking. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Callie Murray is an entrepreneur who has been featured on The Today Show and in The New York Times. Her debut Southern fiction book delves into the lesser-known historical details preceding World War II. Callie and her husband live in Norcross, Georgia, with their seven children, four of whom came through the honor of foster care.

Ben Davis is a writer and former Navy SEAL whose work explores service, identity, and life’s transition points. His debut novel, Caught Downstream, examines the strain of war on relationships and the weight carried by military families long after it ends. His essays and fiction have appeared in The Alpinist and Lethal Minds Journal, and he writes regularly on Substack. He holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary and lives in Colorado with his wife and two daughters.
