Join fellow supporters of Save Sledge Forest as we present our elected officials with our more than 12,000 petition signatures- with a rally pre-meeting to kick things off
WHEN: Oct. 6th RALLY at 3PM and Meeting at 4PM
WHERE NHC Courthouse 23 N 3rd St. Room 301
On Monday, October 6th, the Save Sledge Forest petition – with all of its 12,000+ signatures - will be presented to the County Commissioners during their 4PM meeting. Please Attend!
We need to pack the meeting room and courthouse steps!
Our message and our resolve have not changed since this campaign began:
Protect Sledge Forest.
Protect Our Community.
Stop the Development.
Nearly one year and almost 13.000 supporters later, we still believe that Our Voices Matter. The time to act is now!
A sea of green-shirted supporters - standing together in solidarity to protect Sledge Forest and our Community - sends a powerful message..
This is our moment to show the Commissioners—and the media who will be covering the event—that we stand united, that this movement is stronger than ever, and that we are not backing down.
We hope you can join us for both the rally and the meeting. (The presentation of the petition will be at the very end, during the public comment portion of the meeting, so there is still time to get there after work!)
We are also asking that you help us spread the word by sharing this Call to Action with your friends, neighbors and networks. Together, we can show just how much support there is to protect Sledge Forest - and the health, safety, and well-being of our citizens - and why sitting on the sidelines is no longer an option!
