The Dunedin New World Celts have been hosting Whisky Tastings for over 25 years. We are Dunedin's First and Foremost Whisky Tasting Events. Matt Hartigan started hosting about 10 years ago. Since Bob Peirson's retirement, Bob Shuttleworth has joined Matt to offer you a fun and educational Whisky journey your taste buds are sure to enjoy. This is the first of three Whisky Tastings planned for 2026 and our fourth time at Pisces Sushi and Global Bistro. This time we will be tantalizing your palate with Wolfburn Single Malt Scotch Whisky from way up in the far north Highland coast of Scotland. The Call of the Sea Wolf!
We'll start with a Welcome Cocktail blended from Wolfburn Whisky, then enjoy two Wolfburn drams. Enjoy masterfully created food paired perfectly with each dram. A Special Pour is also available for an additional charge. Limited seating and Special Pours available.
We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization that raises money for kids pursuing Celtic culture such as bagpipes, drums, dance and athletics. We host several different kinds of events. Our Whisky Tastings are some of our biggest fundraisers.
