What is Downeast?
The DownEast National Juried Sculpture Exhibition is located in Pitt County, North Carolina. The exhibition has two components: a month-long indoor exhibition and a year-long outdoor exhibition. The DownEast outdoor sculpture exhibition is a joint exhibition among Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, ECU Student Center Art Galleries, City of Greenville, Town of Winterville, Town of Farmville, Town of Ayden, Wahl-Coates Elementary School for the Arts, and the Greenville Museum of Art.
Opening Reception: Friday, March 7, 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Outdoor Exhibition information
Call of Entry Opens: Tuesday, October 1, 2024
Outdoor Entries Due (digital submission): Friday, November 15, 2024
Outdoor Exhibition Dates: March 2025 - February 2026
Outdoor Prizes: Each placement will be awarded $1,200.
Additional prizes include: 1st Place: $1,500, 2nd Place: $750, 3rd Place: $500
