Call for Artists: Legacy

The Dunedin Fine Art Center is now accepting submissions for Legacy, a juried exhibition exploring the many meanings of what we leave behind.
How do you want to be remembered? What do you hope to pass on to future generations, your family, your community, or the world? What inherited traditions, stories, values, or experiences have shaped who you are? Artists are encouraged to interpret the theme broadly and creatively through their chosen medium.
Guest Judge
The exhibition will be juried by Deon Blackwell, artist, ceramic sculptor, and Adult Education Director at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. Blackwell holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of South Florida and has exhibited work nationally while teaching at both the university and collegiate levels.
Awards
- Best of Show – $500
- First Place – $300
- Second Place – $200
- Third Place – $100
Submission Highlights
- Eligible Media: All 2D and 3D media
- Maximum Entries: Up to two artworks per artist
- Entry Fee per work: $20 Members | $25 Non-Members
- Submission Deadline: Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 5:00 pm
- Exhibition Dates: September 4 – October 18, 2026
