Call For Art: Works featuring Dinosaurs, Cowboys, and/or Outer Space for the August Exhibit at HIVE artspace
Submissions due: July 15, 2026
HIVE artspace is currently accepting submissions of artworks of all mediums featuring dinosaurs, cowboys/cowgirls, and/or outer space themes for our August exhibit. Artworks can feature any one of these themes, or a combination of any of them! We did the original "Triple Feature" exhibit 10 years ago in 2016 and it was so much fun!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• There is no fee to submit artwork for consideration.
• Submitting artwork does not guarantee acceptance into the exhibit.
• ALL artists will receive notification 7-10 days after the submission deadline, whether their artwork was selected or not.
SUBMISSION NOTES:
• Up to 3 submissions permitted.
• There is no fee to submit, but there is a $5 exhibit fee for accepted artists ($5 total regardless of number of artworks accepted.)
• Gallery Commission is 35% on artworks sold.
• Final artwork must be ready-to-hang/display, we use single nail hanging on most works (sawtooth hangers are ok, command strips are not).

NOTE: IF YOU ARE MISSING ANY OF THIS INFORMATION YOUR SUBMISSION WILL BE RETURNED.
• Up to 3 submissions in jpeg or png format no larger than 3MB each.
Images must clearly represent the work, as these images will be used in the accompanying on-line gallery. Watch for glare / background clutter, photographing them against a white or solid colored wall is best for our use. Indirect natural light will give you the truest colors and nicest lighting for your images. Please get them as "square" in the frame as possible.
• Tag info for each submission:
- Title
- Your Name + City & State
- Medium
- Size unframed / size framed (if applicable)
- Price
• Do you have any time constraints? (i.e. shipping, printing, or framing time needed - if not, put "No time constraints.")
• Link to more of your artwork on-line (optional, but highly recommended).

• Drop-off for accepted artwork: August 1-2, times TBA.
• Exhibit dates: August 7-29, 2026.
• Exhibit Opening Reception: First Friday, August 7, 5-9pm.
• End of show artwork pick-up: August 30, 12-4pm.
