Change is how our society progresses towards a brighter future. Art has long been a tool to communicate that change, with the power to challenge, influence, and alter sociopolitical landscapes. For this juried exhibition, ArtsWorcester artist members are invited to share their interpretation of change within the context of people, places, and societies. From larger narratives of power dynamics and historical progress (or regress), to personal values, identity, activism and movements, visually communicate the change that matters to you.
This is a juried exhibition, meaning that the jurors will consider all eligible submissions and select some artworks to be shown at ArtsWorcester. This exhibition will be juried by the Future Arts Workers, thirteen arts administration apprentices with ArtsWorcester from across Worcester Public high schools.
Submission deadline: March 10, 2026
Notifications: By March 31, 2026
Drop-off period in person at ArtsWorcester: April 15 - April 19, 2026
Exhibition run: May 20 - June 21, 2026
All media are welcome including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, fine craft, digital art, and video.
