California Pioneer Heritage

CALIFORNIA PIONEER HERITAGE FOUNDATION will share on early California history of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). More specifically, they specialize in the gold rush era of the late 1840's to early 1850's. They cover topics such as the ship Brooklyn immigrants, the Mormon Battalion, William B. Ide (first and only President of the California Republic),Thomas Rhoades (early settler and gold discoverer predating Coloma), the haunting story of Tragedy Spring and much more.
