California Native Plant Sale

The San Diego Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) invites the community to its annual fall Native Plant Sale at the in Escondido.

This free, open-air event offers one of the region’s largest selections of California native plants—perfect for creating water-wise, fire-resilient, and wildlife-friendly landscapes. Shoppers can choose from a vast selection of shrubs, flowering perennials, groundcovers, and succulents grown by CNPS and trusted Southern California nurseries.

In addition to plants, visitors can explore:

• Marketplace vendors featuring seeds, bulbs, books, artisan goods, and wildlife-themed art
• Expert advice from seasoned landscape professionals
• Partner organizations sharing resources on conservation, ReWilding, and water-saving programs
• Food by (while supplies last)

Guests are encouraged to tour the native gardens surrounding the Sikes Adobe and learn about the San Dieguito River Park’s ongoing efforts to restore and preserve this cultural and ecological landmark—home to a growing section of the Coast to Crest Trail.
