The 2026 California Jammin’ ’76 series is sponsored by SPA Education and Music Foundation. Hosted on select summer nights in the Carnegie Plaza, this 3-part series highlights sounds of the 70s and commemorates America’s Bicentennial with local artists that define our unique musical region. Our August 14th concert highlights 70’s era R&B with Clever Soul, a talented, entertaining and professional band led by two longtime collaborators/composers, David Harris and Belinda Elias. Enjoy the best of classic soul and rock!
California Jammin’ ’76 features free, outdoor performances in the Carnegie plaza. Gates open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 6:30 PM. The public are invited to bring lawn chairs and picnic dinners (or grab dinner to go at one of the restaurants on Center Street Promenade) to the show. Kids enjoy free arts and crafts. Beer, wine, and concessions are available for purchase.
