*CALGARY* RUNWAY's Fall Convention

We are proud to present an AMAZING faculty of professional dancers and choreographers from around the world. We have selected our faculty to provide an incredibly diverse selection of styles for all students to learn something new!

Note: Specific dance shoes are not mandatory to enjoy each class.

* All dancers / guardians will be required to sign a waiver before taking part in the Convention.

*All studio owners, faculty, teachers, dancers, parents, guardians, and any other attendees of any event(s) hosted by RUNWAY Entertainment Limited o/a RUNWAY Dance Connection (the “Company”) (collectively, the “Releasors” and each a “Releasor”), either on its own or in partnership with a participating third-party, hereby acknowledge and understand that the activities, including but not limited to dance competitions (the “Activity”), involves the risk of serious injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage. The Releasors hereby acknowledge and understand that while the Company has implemented measures to reduce the risk of injury from the Activity, the Company cannot guarantee that a Releasor will not be injured due to his or her participation in or attendance at the Activity.

EACH RELEASOR HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE OR SHE IS PARTICIPATING IN OR ATTENDING THE ACTIVITY WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGERS INVOLVED. EACH RELEASOR HEREBY AGREES TO ACCEPT AND ASSUME ALL RISKS OF INJURY, ILLNESS, DISABILITY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF HIS OR HER PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE OF THE ACTIVITY, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE COMPANY OR OTHERWISE. EACH RELEASOR HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVES AND RELEASES THE COMPANY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AFFILIATES, SHAREHOLDERS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS, AS WELL AS THE HOSTING FACILITY, FROM ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR (a) ANY LOSSES, ILLNESSES, INJURIES, DEATH, OR DAMAGES THAT HE OR SHE MAY SUSTAIN, (b) ANY LOST INCOME, EXPENSES OR COSTS THAT HE OR SHE MAY INCUR, (c) ANY INJURIES, ILLNESSES, DEATH OR DAMAGE THAT HE OR SHE MAY CAUSE TO OTHERS, and (d) ANY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, SUITS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, AND EXPENSES WHATSOEVER NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER KNOWN IN ANY JURISDICTION THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, DURING, BECAUSE OF, ARISING OUT OF OR IN RELATION TO A RELEASOR’S PARTICIPATION IN OR ATTENDANCE OF THE ACTIVITY, HOWEVER SUCH LOSSES, INJURIES, DAMAGES, EXPENSES, OR COSTS MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED, EVEN IF SUCH LOSSES, INJURIES, DAMAGES, EXPENSES OR COSTS MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED OR WERE CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE COMPANY OR THE HOSTING FACILITY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE.

*The Releasors acknowledge and agree that the Company may film, photograph or otherwise record the Activity, for advertising and promotional purposes, news coverage, or any other similar commercial purpose, all of which may be posted on the Company’s website, social media platforms, or other public platforms, including being aired on television and included in print media. Each Releasor hereby expressly and irrevocably gives the Company his or her permission and consent, and grants the Company the right to film, record, and photograph (collectively, the “Recording”) him or her and record his or her voice. Each Releasor further irrevocably grants and licenses to the Company the rights to display, publicly perform, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, or otherwise use, the Recording, including his or her image, likeness, appearance, and voice as they appear in the Recording, to be used on the Company’s website, social media accounts, or any other public platforms, including television and print media, for the purpose of promoting the Company and/or the Activity, or any similar purpose, without further consent from or any royalty, payment, or other compensation to the Releasor.
