Calgary District Energy Tour, Panel & Mixer (AEE Alberta member & students)

Join the AEE Alberta Chapter and facility engineering hosts from Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure for a tour of the Calgary downtown District Energy heating plant, followed by a presentation and Q&As. Your admission to this event also includes a follow-up expert panel discussion and networking event at Alt Hotel East Village, a short 10-min walk from the tour venue.

When: Tuesday, November 28, 2024, from 3 PM

Program:

• 3:00 Arrival at the Calgary DE heating plant (435 9 Ave SE, Calgary)
• 3:10 Introduction and safety briefing
• 3:15 to 4:00 Tour
• 4:00-4:30 Presentation on the plant operations with Q&As
• 4:45 Walk to Alt Hotel East Village (635 Confluence Way SE, Calgary)
• From 5:00 to 7:30 Networking reception at Alt Hotel East Village
• 5:15 - 6:30 Expert Panel discussion on district energy (4 guest speakers and moderator)
  Participants need to wear closed-toe shoes as well as hearing protection. Hearing protection will be available on site but participants are welcome to bring their own.
  Your admission to this event includes the tour, presentation, and panel discussion networking reception with 1 drink and finger food at the Alt Hotel.

Cost:

• $12.50 for AEE Alberta members and students (this ticket)
